Elon Musk Deletes Controversial X Posts

Elon Musk appears to have deleted several posts from his social media platform, X, amid a rapidly escalating feud with former President Donald Trump. The now-removed posts included explosive accusations and comments that intensified tensions between the once-allied figures.

One deleted post accused Trump of being mentioned in files related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a claim made without evidence. Musk further suggested that the lack of public release of these files was due to Trump’s alleged involvement—an assertion quickly rejected by the White House.

Another deleted post showed Musk replying “yes” to a user who called for Trump to be impeached and replaced with Vice President JD Vance. That post, too, has since disappeared from the platform.

The deletions follow a tense week of back-and-forth between Musk and Trump. The dispute reportedly stems from Musk’s vocal opposition to Trump’s newly proposed “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which Musk believes fails to include key policies he supports.

On Friday, during an appearance on comedian Theo Von’s podcast, Vice President Vance weighed in, describing Musk as “an emotional guy” making a “huge mistake” by targeting Trump.

Just last week, the two men had publicly praised each other following Musk’s departure from the Department of Government Efficiency. However, their relationship has since soured, underscoring a significant political and personal fallout.

The White House has not issued further comment, but Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed Musk’s allegations, attributing the situation to his frustration with the bill.
